PA Tax Credit: A Step Up Academy can award critical financial aid and scholarships to students so they can access our highly specialized autistic support educational programming, related services, and benefit from our inclusion partnerships regardless of their family’s personal financial circumstances.

EITC (Educational Improvement Tax Credit) and OSTC (Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit) are state programs that allow your business to redirect tax dollars to ASUA in support of scholarships.

The EITC and OSTC programs allow businesses to receive a 90% tax credit if donating for two consecutive years and up to 75% tax credit if donating for one. Any C-Corporations or pass-through entities such as S-Corporations, Partnerships, LLCs, etc. that pay the following Pennsylvania state taxes are eligible to apply for both the EITC and OSTC programs:

• Corporate Net Income Tax
• Capital Stock Franchise Tax
• Bank and Trust Company Shares Tax
• Title Insurance Premiums Tax
• Mutual Thrift Institutions Tax

• All Sub-Chapter S Corporations and other

“pass through” entities (LLC, LLP, and other partnerships)

that pay personal income tax on PA income.
