Welcome to A Step Up Academy! We're excited to guide you through our admissions process, designed to ensure a smooth transition for your child or student into our nurturing educational environment.

 

Admissions at A Step Up Academy operate on a rolling basis, meaning applications are accepted throughout the year. However, we highly recommend families, school districts, and/or charter schools apply during the school year to optimize efficiency and facilitate in-person school visits.

School Districts/Charter Schools:  

Please send all referral packets to: admissions@astepupacademy.org

Please include the school year you are seeking enrollment for your student, all available documents (IEPs, ERs, RRs, IEEs, FBAs, etc).

Once we review the documents, we will reach out and ask permission to start the process below with the parent, along with communicating with the school district/charter school throughout the process.

 

Parents:

To initiate the admissions journey, simply click the button below to submit a request. Upon receipt, we'll promptly email you detailed information and arrange an initial Zoom call. This call serves as an opportunity for us to introduce ourselves, address any queries you may have, and discuss the next steps.

 

Following the initial Zoom call, we'll schedule an in-person tour and a student visit, enabling you and your child to experience firsthand the warmth and vibrancy of our school community.

 

Interested families are kindly asked to fulfill the following requirements:

 

1. Submit all pertinent documents such as current and recent Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), evaluations, reports, and any other relevant information crucial to the placement decision at A Step Up Academy.

2.  Participate in an initial Zoom call with the Head of School.

3.  Participate in an in-person parent tour at our school location(s) where you bring your child. The visit is approximately one hour in length.
