An Update on ASUA's Food Equity Project

First and foremost, I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday break and a fabulous new year! Having recently joined ASUA as one of the marketing coordinators with a focus on community outreach, I'd be remiss if I didn't bring up our Food Equity program.

For those of you who have donated to this, thank you for your support. This initiative started when the SNAP benefit paused and we knew we needed to have resources for the community. So far we have attained 17% of our goal and have provided over 11 weeks worth of meals. The group handling this couldn't be more thankful to everyone who has donated and shared this out on any social media platform.

We hope to continue this, and if you feel so inclined to donate, please know every dollar helps us keep this mission moving forward. Coming from a different walk in life professionally, seeing the support the community has for one another is truly inspiring and really brings home one of our core values "If it doesn't exist then we will build it."
