Here’s a fun fact: ASUA’s faculty and staff population has tripled in just the last three years.
In 2013, we opened our doors with just five employees, some of whom were part-time. Thirteen years later, through sustained growth and intentional evolution, ASUA now employs more than 200 team members across Southeastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Our employees are the heart of ASUA. They bring our mission to life each day, supporting more than 150 families with dedication, compassion, and expertise. Quite simply, our impact would not be possible without them.
That belief shapes how we approach employment.
At ASUA, we are deeply committed to being an employer of choice in our region. We recognize that, in order for our team to show up fully for our students and community, they must also feel supported, valued, and equipped in their own roles.
We invest intentionally in our people through:
A competitive and thoughtful total compensation package aligned with organizations of our size and scope
Robust professional development and training opportunities, with clear pathways for growth and advancement
A deep and ongoing commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, where individuals are empowered to bring their authentic selves to their work
Comprehensive supports that evolve alongside the needs of our growing team
While compensation and benefits are essential, we know they are only part of the equation. We know from experience that workplace culture is critical to sustaining teams and retaining top talent. At ASUA, we take a holistic and human-centered approach to cultivating an environment where people can thrive.
We strive to:
Honor each individual’s experiences, perspectives, and contributions
Normalize and implement micro-accommodations: small, meaningful adjustments that help employees succeed in their roles
Foster collaboration and connection across teams and disciplines
Provide individualized support for work-life needs, professional development, and career growth
Inclusive employment is not a single initiative, it is an ongoing and deeply set commitment. It is reflected in how we design our systems, how we support one another, and how we build a workplace where all individuals feel seen, valued, and empowered to succeed.
At ASUA, inclusion extends beyond the students and families we serve - it is embedded in how we work, grow, and lead together.
