One of the highlights to wrap up our school year was celebrating our annual Step Up Ceremony, a truly special event recognizing our 12th-grade students as they transition into the next phase of their educational journey and into our Bridge Program.
Whether by gaining greater independence, strengthening their communication skills, improving their self-advocacy, or reaching their own personal milestones, it is undeniable that our students have stepped up. Which is why it is so important for our ceremony to honor the hard work that has gone into these successes, by the students themselves as well as the partnership of their families and dedication of our incredible staff.
This year, the room was buzzing as families, friends, and staff gathered together to celebrate the students and reflect on the incredible progress they have made throughout the year. We are incredibly proud of each of them and grateful to all who attended and helped make this year's ceremony so memorable. Watching the students cross the stage surrounded by the people who believe in them was a powerful reminder of why we do this work every day.
While the ceremony marked the end of one chapter, it also celebrated the beginning of another filled with new opportunities. The transition into our Bridge Program represents an exciting next step as students continue building the skills needed for adulthood. As they begin this exciting new chapter, and we cannot wait to see all that they will accomplish in the Bridge Program and beyond!
