Summer Fun, Growth & Discovery at A Step Up Academy

Summertime at A Step Up Academy is filled with so many exciting opportunities for students to grow and shine. As a parent, I have found that ASUA’s summer programming does an excellent job of nurturing growth, creativity, independence and joy. I see the results in my son Jon, and have found it truly rewarding to witness him take advantage of what ASUA has to offer. 

There are many offerings available that keep students engaged and connected throughout the summer with hands-on experiences. For example, Jon is most excited about swimming, field trips, music and crafting activities (particularly, the snack-making and shirt tie-dyeing). 

These activities are great ways to encourage learning in fun, memorable ways while maintaining a safe and supportive environment. I’m grateful that students like Jon can explore their interests and build confidence through this kind of programming. 

What stands out most is the caring atmosphere created by the staff and team. Seeing Jon look forward to his days, share his excitement, and engage in new experiences speaks to the positive impact of the program.

ASUA’s summer programming nurtures growth, creativity, independence, and joy, creating meaningful experiences not only for students, but for families as well. For Jon and many other students, summer at A Step Up Academy is more than a program, it’s a place where learning, belonging, and fun come together.
